We will definitely be back. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We purchased discounted ferry tickets right from the camp store and the shuttle picked us up and dropped us back off right at our camp site. The beach view is beautiful and the rest rooms and campground are very clean. The camp store is well stocked with anything you might need.

This campground is a great location! It's small and quaint, but is located right on Lake Michigan! The water was only a few feet from our campsite, and you can see the bridge right from our tent! The bathroom was really clean, and it had hot water! There were people who have camped there every summer for years, which tells me it's a good place! I had a few issues though: We were told each campsite had a water and electric hook up. That was in accurate because our sit had to share one with three other sites. That was an issue as our extension chord didn't reach to our campsite and we had to walk closely to the other campers tent. Also, the sites were quite small. Ours was on the end so we had a good amount of room, but the site next to us was tiny, and could only fit about one tent. Our biggest issue was with scheduling the staff. My friend, who is really detailed oriented, called in January to reserve a spot for our group. She specified exactly how many cars/tents/people we had and we were given a price for the weekend and we paid it up front. She specifically asked if the number of people was okay for the site multiple times. When we arrived however, we were told that our number we received was wrong, and that we needed to pay an extra 85$! We calmly reminded them of the price and conversation in January, and both staff members seemed disorganized, lack communication with each other (as they both seemed really confused) and then blamed us for it and was very rude to us. We almost left the campground, and would have if we didn't have a group meeting us there. They eventually only charged us 15$, but we were still very upset about their lack of organization, but also their customer service in handling the issue! TL/DR: great location, bad service

Super location, we rode our bikes into town and on the wonderful trail across the main road. Minimal water pressure and hot water in showers. Sites close together, but it was fine. We were there just prior to July 4, so the place was packed.

We had a fantastic camping experience here. Friendly staff and a great view from the beach. Our family will definitely visit again.

Friendly staff. Very accommodating they were able to get us in on a holiday weekend when we had issues at another campground. Bathrooms were constantly cleaned. Already booked for next 4th of July. Great location close to city.
