I've been staying there off and on for almost 10 years now. They have a 8 beautiful cabins and we got to stay in number 3; a nice smaller cabin with three beds, a small kitchen and an attached washroom. We went canoeing, paddle boating, swimming and played some board games inside when it was raining. It was nice getting a chance to just sit by the fire and watch the lake in the evening and they provided the stuff we needed to get the fire going and to cook our dinner over it. The owners are really wonderful people and they're always willing to do a little extra to make sure your trip is fantastic. I didn't get a chance to this trip, but often in the summer they have different activities and events up by the main office and there is kayaking and beach volleyball available. We were only there one night this time, but it feels like we did so much in such a short time. I'm glad I got a chance to take a break from my busy summer jobs to actually experience a bit of summer, even if it was only for a night. I look forward to going back with a better camera next time just to take pictures of the trees, lake and ducks. It's also not a far drive from magnetawan so when I was feeling a bit under the weather in the morning we were able to make a quick trip to pick up some Advil. I don't get the chance to visit as much as I used to, but it's still one of my favourite places to go to have a bit of a vacation. I love it there.

Me and my girlfriend did the bring your own tent! It was such an amazing experience ,Jim and his family are so kind and welcoming, made sure we had everything we needed even with the rain. We also got to experience a beautiful display of fireworks by a lovely couple that have stayed there for many years, we will 100% deffinetly be coming back, what a great relaxing experience!

The perfect place for a quiet getaway. Access to canoes and kayaks, and a community kitchen. The family who owns this campground is incredibly kind and giving to others. Highly recommend!

The first thing you feel when you drive in is peace. You see the gorgeous forest all around and Lake Cecebe is right THERE. This is not a pretentious place, but a hallowed place. I'm not kidding. There is magic here. There are so many 'special' touches, that our gracious hosts provide. I want to tell you what we found when we arrived in our cabin....but I won't because I want you to have that lovely surprise when you walk in. We have been to many places; camped and cabined and hoteled all over, but this....there is nothing like this place.

This is a great family run operation. Fun, laid-back, and very peaceful. You can easily canoe to Magnetawan and points in between. Highly recommended for a nice weekend getaway.
