Normally, this is an excellent place to camp and go hiking. However, for the Canada Day long weekend they charge you for all 3 days even if you only stay for one, and most of the campground was blocked off leaving you with a limited selection of campsites. A couple of the campsites we checked did not even have running water coming out of their pipes. We did not end up spending the night. I would recommend coming on normal weekends instead of holidays

Nice small beach but too much seaweed. Not worth $5.25 per person though. No concession stand. Make sure to bring your own water & food.

So quite so lovely place for one day picnic or camping. Alcohol allowed but expect long weekends I guess. But don't think about swimming there ad the water is not clean anymore. Fishing is catch and release only.

A great time. So many friendly people at bluegrass festival and Rhonda Vincent and the rage was amazing so glad I got to experience it.
