Beautiful little resort, Fran is the best!

These cottages are amazing and can honestly say one of the best stays I have had anywhere. Fran (The owner) and her family are friendly and amazing people who always are there to help with your every need! I planned a Prom cottage for my group of friends and it was 100% successful and so much fun. The cabins were VERY clean as well as the washrooms and the property. Summerhill is a 3 minute walk from the main beach and shops which was amazing. The security guards are respectful, very friendly and the rules that are set out are very fair. Overall I can say that my group had an amazing and memorable time all because of Fran's hard work, passion and care for her guests. Thank you so so much Summerhill I'm sure I will stay again!

Myself and a close friend of mine just spent our May 24 weekend in Wasaga at Summerhill. There is so many amazing things about this place. First of all, our initial reaction to seeing the inside of our little cottage was " this is the cutest , most humble place ever! " The cottage was small , but no damages, and just enough space for the two of us to be comfortable. When booking , they did inform us that our cottage would not have a bathroom in it , and that we would have to go use a shared area to do so. This is the part that scared us , we thought it would be unsanitary.. To our dismay , we walked in the bathroom and it was spotless. Not only that , but it didn't smell disgusting . Through out the weekend , I noticed , it was not common at all for the bathroom to run out of paper towel or toilet paper which is something else that we were worried about, it wasn't not a problem. The owners were outstanding but more importantly.. always available. They stayed around site to ensure everyone safety . We were treated so well from beginning to end. The only thing I really could say that would have improved out trip would be pack lots and lots of extra blankets, night time can get cold ! Aside from that , I will 100% be returning , Planning two trips at the end of the summer already ! So so so pleased with our experience !
