Peaceful and quiet water access. Nice (small) sandy beach for launching canoes or swimming. Short 200m walk from the well maintained parking lot to the water. Takes awhile to get in from the main road, but I guess that's part or the draw -to get away.

nice enough lake. the cottagers are a bit noisy. barking dog, motor boat and generator were annoying. Sucker Lake over one portage is quieter. the ants were biting like crazy on the beach. all sites are water access with a portage from the parking lot.

An easy 200m portage from the parking lot down to the shoreline gives campers convenient access to quasi-backcountry camping opportunities.

Great place for a day paddle or weekend canoe trip.
