The sites that are im the 2nd row have to walk away to access the lake. Showers are nice and clean.

Great service, installations, calm camping grounds with restaurant, beach, smooth paths and access to anyone from cyclotourists to RVs. Tent campers get grounds close to the lake with light tree cover, flat ground, lake access for kayaks and similar small watercraft, a sink to wash dishes, as well as a firepit. Wood is available to buy upon arrival. Activities abound and are filled with volunteers, parents and kids, staff is always friendly and helpful. There are stringeant rules about soap types, sound levels after midnight, etc. which might be draconian to some, but allow people to enjoy a clean and clear lake, nice-looking installations, as well as sleep. There is a night-shift guard which allows you to leave stuff unlocked and out in the open without it disappearing the next day. There is a small peninsula with wooden sunshade that has unfortunately been conquered by big geese. There is nothing to do about it, they are invasive birds but are protected by govt. law, and thus the wooden sunshade is sometimes a hassle to get to. Still yields beautiful pictures at the crack of dawn. While it is too close to the city for me, it is still the best campgrounds I've been to. I also recommend this location to anyone who may be trying to avoid camping at Oka National Park for various reasons.
