A campsite with an 11pm bedtime? Unbelievable...

Sep 3, 2017
First of all it's expensive (base fee plus $ for each person) for a lot that doesn't have anything. We were told that if we wanted to stay for the day not overnight, to go to the beach, we would have to pay. Felt that they just wanted our money. Unlike parks in AB and SK the campground did not come with firewood or a woodgrill thing to cook. Would NOT go back.

Camping itself is ok but not the best (3-3.5 stars). But the owner could not and didn't want resolve problems (1 star) so the total = 2. There was a flood from the nearest lake. The owner proposed us one free night in the future but ordered not to return us money for that. So if we're not agree - come on guys, please keep calm and sleep in the water (still coming) with your kids. The owner just escaped from problems. Naturally, he has gone without any explanation and discussion. Our friends could get their money back for 1 night (their places were totally under water, ~10 cm or more). But, as I said, the owner prohibited to reimburse us at all because not the whole(!) our place was under water at the moment (water was still coming). BTW, we have lost our oak, wood, some food, tents of our friends were wet. Of course, it's not their fault BUT the only one reaction was - "it's the first time during past 17 years". Great empathy, eh? Would you like to support this kind of "business"? Everyone has his own head but we will never go to the camping again. There are better campings in Quebec.

Excellent

Accueil sympathique, site propre, belle plage, chiens admis (merci!).
