What a great place! Great people, great atmosphere, well-run, and it has just the right blend of sport and nature that can satisfy nearly everyone. Allowed me to develop many, many more good qualities and I'm grateful to have been to this outstanding camp for three fun-filled summers.

Do not let your children go to this camp. Two of my daughters got tick bites and Lyme disease cause the staff are incompetent.

Camp Walt Whitman is a great place to be during the summer. Great counselors, great owners, and they do an amazing job! I have spent the last 4 awesome summers at CWW, and I have made life long friends! Highly recommend!

I've spent the last two summers here as a counselor and can safely say it's made a lasting impact on my life. The other counselors, staff, and especially the campers are all phenomenal people. Jed and Carolyn (the directors) ensure that each summer is a child's best by continuously hiring quality staff and improving the already outstanding camp infrastructure.

Camp Walt Whitman started off as a summer employment opportunity that I came across when I was in college and has developed into a major part of my life. Not only was the experience of working at Walt Whitman one that I will always remember but it has given me friends and family that I couldn't imagine my life without. It is one of those places that is hard to explain when looking at it from the outside, but requires no explanation once you're there! I highly recommend this incredible opportunity to anyone of any age!
