The week we spent at Ohana was an incredible return to all things wholesome. Removed from the chaos and technology of everyday life; constant phone calls, constantly being accessible to everyone except those that matter most to us, we flourished. Every second was rejuvenating whether we were crafting, creating, singing, hiking, participating in swim or water sports, sitting quietly in the shade under a tree taking in an incredible mountain/valley view, enjoying talking with accepting staff/fellow campers/each other, or eating remarkably good food that is responsibly and locally sourced with options for all diets. Our family had a 2-bed and 3-bed cabin, each was clean and well supplied with enough beds for all, space to socialize and enough wood for nightly fires to warm both hearts and cool nights. Staff were vibrant, diverse in ages and expertise, everything was well organized and ran smoothly. Days were an excellent blend of AM activity sessions (suitable for most age groups and varied interests to include: leather crafts, woods crafts, yoga/boot camp, tie-dye, nature walks with the extraordinary Fran), free afternoons for waterfront or other peaceful diversions, and stimulating evening activities (local animal experience, contra dancing, top notch marionette show, a very emotional camp fire S’mores and sing along). The cost was remarkably reasonable for all we received and every member of our our 12 person group (4 adults, 8 children ages 14mos-13years) felt accepted, validated, and uplifted. We cannot say enough good things about Camp Ohana, and are so incredibly thankful it found a place into our summer this year and into our lives for future years to come.

We've spent four summers coming to Ohana with our kids. It's been so fun to experience it from a new lens each year as we meet new families, and watch the kids grow more independent. It's also a true vacation, as we put away our devices, let someone else do all of the cooking, and spend time trying new activities, swimming and relaxing. Great staff, beautiful location

I first came to Ohana as a camper, having been a lover of camp since my own childhood days at a camp in Maine, I was ecstatic to learn about family camp where I could revisit my best memories and relive the pure joy that camp brings. I attended Ohana with my aunt, uncle and cousins, along with other family friends. I think we ended up reaching a rowdy group of 30 one summer! The group continues to go back year after year! We all enjoy the variety of activities provided, a bunch of "land sports" water sports, more crafts than you can imagine, exploring local plants and animals, forests... the kids love to be able to run free and explore, the adults love to know the kids are safe, and they can take some time to disconnect with technology and reconnect with their families, their lives, and a peaceful state of mind. When my work schedule allowed it I applied to be an employee at Ohana. I was able to work through the spring weddings and summer camp. It was great to be apart of an organization that values community and family. Most of our food is sourced within 100 miles of camp! The staff are supportive and diverse and loving. Ohana is a wonderful place to reconnect with yourself, discover your family was bigger than you could have imagined, and realize that there are still places where families grow closer together. And getting married there? Its a dream come true, absolutely magnificent! You wont regret your visit.

We have visited Ohana Camp for four summers in a row and every summer is better than the last. Our family of four LOVES it. The activities are lots of fun and the lake is clean and refreshing. See you next year!

Beautiful setting for a family camp. Camp is very well-run; professional yet easygoing. It's a wonderful experience to disconnect for a week and live in a setting of good company, very good food, and fun activities.
