This is a great family-run camp. My brother and I spend ever summer of our childhood (he started at age 8, I started at age 9) up at Kingswood on the shores of lake Tarleton. As we grew up, we both returned to work as counselors. These days, while we can no longer take summers off to work at camp, we recommend Kingswood to any family we know with young boys.

Kingswood Camp truly is a special place. A family-run business where every camper is valued, looked after and well fed! Climbing mountains, kayaking in the lake, studying nature photography or playing sports, there is no end to the fun boys can have. The staff are fantastic, many of them returning campers! If you are looking for an authentic camp experience for you son, look no further. Your son will be welcomed into the Kingswood family, have an amazing summer and make life long friends.

I started at Kingswood when I was six years old, and nine years later, I have not missed a year at this special camp ever since. Welcoming every camper with open arms and happiness, Kingswood makes every summer a blast. The best relationships will be made with friends, and those relationships will be cherished forever. I can honestly say that Kingswood is my second family, and I wish for many more amazing, life-changing summers at Kingswood.

I've been to a few summer camps in the past, and Kingswood is the best, without question. I could rave for hours about its superb staff/location/policy/set-up/ethos, but you really have to experience it yourself. I've had an absolute blast for all my six years there. Its such a happy, friendly place, it's really no surprise that nearly everyone keeps coming back, year after year.

I have been going to Kingswood for the past four summers and it is so much fun. The setting right on Lake Tarleton is beautiful, and the fun just increases from there. The staff are fantastic and the creativity the camp has is immense. I have been to many camps, but none as creative and unique as Kingswood. Whether it be original games or activities, Kingswood has something for every boy out there and I would highly, highly recommend sending your son to Kingswood.
