Can't begin to speak to everything there is to love about this facility. The accommodations are fantastic, the setting is amazing, and the staff is top rate.

I love camp! I want to come back every summer, and when I'm too old to be a camper or a WILD (Wilderness Intensive Leadership Development program), I want to be a counselor. And then an old counselor. And then a whatever-they-need-me-to-be-as-long-as-I-can-stay. :)

I've just returned home from a 4 day Father/Son retreat at the Moose River Outpost in Jackman. This is a fantastic camp. The staff are great Leaders. The scenery is surreal with a lot to explore. Our trip was filled with rafting, canoeing, kayaking, paintball and a LOT of great homemade food. Coffee was bottomless. Clean and modern (yet rustic) cabins with hot showers. A few well placed Adirondack chairs for mentally checking out. 3 mile lake parameter trail. It really doesn't get any better than this. Plenty of ways to break up the drive. Check out the L.C. Bates Museum on Rt 201 or dine on a cantilevered deck over the Skowhegan Falls at the Old Mill Pub. Enjoy! Thanks for hosting us Seth!
