My son always enjoys his stay at Camp Kawanhee year after year. Every year that he has attended as a camper has been great for him at this magical place. Counselors have been so kind with my son over the years that thankfully this year my son is a counselor too!! Care packages that I send to my son are always shared with his friends and other campers. Food as I've been told is absolutely delicious with professional chefs hired on staff who cook with great care, sensitive to campers with food allergies, especially peanuts. Extra care, again, is taken to hire registered nurses; Camp Mom; and so much more. I am so grateful that Camp Kawanhee has offered my son many heart-warming experiences that will be remembered and cherished for a life time. Thank you Camp Kawanhee for all the great times. God Bless Camp Kawanhee today and always.

Not what it used to be. A counselor was caught with child pornography in California, he was the eagle lodge counselor which is the 7-8 year olds. My counsoler who managed campcraft with knifes axes and fires was found with weed under his bed when our hacky sack went under his bed. Then he was kicked out after assaulting a female on camp. Discipline is horrible, they got rid of carepackages with candy as it created jealousy. Food is horrible. Some staff don't even work. Not what it was in 2011. Don't send your kid here.

I was a repeat camper in the mid 80's. To this day I remember the experience and hold it close to my heart. Helped me turn from a young boy to a young man.

I was a camper (and Councillor) there for 9 years. The amazing experiences I had there will be with me forever. Truly blessed and grateful for every day I spent there. I cannot recommend Kawanhee highly enough. Andrew Prior
