This is a great place for events, came here for a wedding and everything was very nice. Seemingly very inexpensive lodging for people who want to stay overnight, not hotel style but still worth it for large groups of people for events and such. However there were a couple negatives, the lady who owns/runs the place is very nice, if a bit flip-flopping. She initially said under no circumstances was there to be anyone to use the pool (why not? People are renting out your venue and you don't want them to use the services available?), and not 20 minutes later went around saying "it's a beautiful day, why isn't anyone swimming?", as well, if you're here for a wedding, make sure you bring your own caterers from outside. The food was definitively the worst food I've ever had at a wedding. It would have been fine to serve kids at a summer camp, not for a group of 100+ adults. The vegetarian option was a chickpea loaf in marinara sauce, which seemed to be canned tomato sauce mixed with bull's eye bbq sauce. The chicken was simply listed as "chicken breast in sherry sauce", which could literally mean anything. However this sauce most definitely did not use much sherry, it was just a typical, bland, grey sauce served with sliced up chunks of chicken breast, under seasoned rice, and overcooked beans and carrots. Served cafeteria style, and we had to clear our own plates. Gourmet chefs they are not. All in all, very nice grounds, beautiful reception hall, terrible food.

Amazing place for a large group of people. Cozy and well run, we went for a company outing and had a blast.
