Awesome overnight summer camp for kids ages 7-17. Lots of activities, pool, lake, animals, just about any activity to suit your interest. The staff is very caring , deicated to the campers needs and some how give individual attention to each kid. Will definitely send my son back next year.

This is my second time at Camp Horizons and overall I’ve had good experiences. The camp itself is beautiful with incredible views of the mountains and tucked away from civilization which makes a nice getaway. The camp is also pretty large which means that you, and your group, can really enjoy all the activities it has to offer without running into too many other groups. The staff was very nice, accommodating and hands off. I was however, pretty disappointed in the food. I don’t typically expect much from “camp food”, but this was bad even by those standards. It’s sustinance and will keep you alive, but there will be no enjoyment in it. Additionally, the bathrooms and showers were kind of gross. Again, I don’t expect a lot from camps....but I don’t like leaving a shower feeling more dirty than when I went in. Overall, I enjoyed the camp, but it could use some work on cleanliness and food options.

Our daughter recently went to this camp, and it was extremely disappointing. First off, the food was horrible, (as described in others posts) and the staff abrupt and surly most of the time. She even said staff was overheard speaking negatively about the kids. The "tents" were filthy, and filled with wasps, moths and other bugs. She did say that the campfires were very nice.
