The hosts, Shira and Joe, have an immaculate camp ground and always make us feel welcome (our fourth summer visit)! The ⛺ sites right at the lake edge are wonderful and you can hear lake Champlain lapping at the beach when falling asleep. Great also for star gazing.

Camp Skyland is such a peaceful and incredibly beautiful place to spend your Summer vacation that you will be absolutely compelled to return over and over again each Summer. The tenting sites are lush green grass with campfire rings, the rental cabins are super clean and literally right on shore above the water, the RV sites are easy to access, and the Dishwashing Station, Bathrooms, and Showers are super clean and pleasant. The views are nothing less than spectacular in all directions, access to the lake is immediate, and access to miles and miles of bike paths, bike-ferries, country roads is also immediate, right outside the entrance to Camp Skyland. The owners, Joey & Shira and their two children are super friendly and incredibly helpful and accessible at all times. This place will fill you senses with nothing but pleasant dreams and unforgettable memories. Check their website. ENJOY ! ! !

I grew up camping. Small, family owned campgrounds all over. Each one different, with their own vibe. Some stoic and hushed, some quiet and sleepy. Camp Skyland is alive and vibrant! Family owned by the nicest people, who have bright, cheerful, and polite children. The place is a relative beehive of happy, smiling campers, who are quick to chat, or offer assistance. I think we were asked 4 times by fellow campers if we needed anything at the store, because they were going. This is the true nature of most people. And by nurturing this feeling, the owners generate a warm, friendly, family environment for all who venture here. This place is a hidden gem in northeastern Vermont. A true, "travelers rest", like the inns of old. Be there, or be square, folks :0)

Been coming here for over 20 years as a family and just love the place!

Beautiful view and friendly staff. If you are looking for a simple camping experience or to rent a rustic small cabin this is your place. The tent camping is great here with every site having a great view of the lake. If you are into biking the campground is a mile and a half from the causeway which goes across the lake and into Burlington. I will be making this a yearly family destination.
