Just finished a bear hunt here. Worst hunting experience ever and I have been on several outfitted hunts in other parts of Canada. The owner is rude and unprofessional. Didnt even greet us upon arrival, when showing us our cabin said "are you coming, I have other stuff to do". He raised the rate three years after the hunt was booked and agreed upon. On top of that, several of us didnt even see a bear, including other hunters from another group staying in other cabins. He doesnt use camers. One of our guys had a bait with a brand new barrel and no bear sign at all...no tracks, no scat, no trees scraped. Looked like it was just set up. Several tree stands were in poor condition. When speaking with the owner about it, his response was, "did anyone promise you anything?" Stay away from this outfitter

First time up here over the Canada Day week. We stayed at the Outpost cabin. Cabin was great, everything what you needed was there. We loved the lodge so much, that we even booked again in September for a week at the main lodge this time.
