Worst 'campground' ever! First off, not even what could be called a campground......it's a FIELD with hook-ups. Nobody staffing the office...just a note saying "pick any spot but some are reserved for later this week"....really?....which ones?....you expect me to move? Owner was like no owner I've ever encountered.....RUDE AND VULGAR with no concern for clients. He FINALLY showed up 6 hours after my arrival, completely unappologetic until I voiced my displeasure at his attutude and operation. His reaction, swearing at me in front of oyher campers! I'll be warning others to steer clear of this joke of a campground and this joker owner via other camping websites of which I'm a member (and there are many). .

Very clean well-maintained Campground. Would definitely stay here again.

Really nice place to stay, close to Jay Peak and its Waterpark. Really nice tenant. Mostly for RV and trailer, but if you just need a space for your tent there is small space available as well. The tenant gave us a nice tour and we could choose where we wanted to setup our tent!

The owner was super nice and helpful. Had a flat tire and he located a tire store and got directions. Clean and roomy lots. Clean restrooms.

We look forward to spending time every year at one of Vermont's best campgrounds, Barrewood. We love the views, the quiet woods, the babbling stream and waterfalls. It's got all the amenities and is close to Jay Peak where there is alot of family things to do and see. Most of all, we love the well kept, clean, camper friendly atmosphere that Mark, the owner provides for us. Our Golden Retriever, Murphy loves it too!
