This is a very good destination for your family gatherings, BBQ, picnic, etc. The entry fee is 8.50$ per adult and free for kids under 17. You also have to pay 11.00$ for parking if the plague is open for swimming. There is a mini water-park and a playground for kids which is fun. Canoes, kayaks, paddle-boards and pedalos available for rent but you can also bring your own non-motorized boat. 45 minutes drive from Montreal core and 30 minutes from the south shore. You can take highway 10 but 112 road is also a very good option which takes you there passing through the rural areas with lots of local markets and sightseeing. Check for traffic before you hit the road if you are coming from anywhere but the south-shore. PLEASE PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOU LEAVE. I OFTEN SEE A MESS LEFT BEHIND BY THE FAMILIES FOR THE STAFF TO CLEAN UP. THIS WAY YOU ONLY GIVE THEM A REASON TO HIKE THE ENTRY FEES.

Yamaska National Park is one of my favorite Quebec National parks to spend some time with my family. There is a planty of activities for children such as a kids playground, a playground with water streams, which are so welcoming in hot days, the puppet theater to teach children some rules to be observed in natural reserves and on the beach, and of course, there is a beach on the lake and a camping (for an additional fee). It is very important to know that, it is a good idea to check whether the beach is open before you come here. It can be closed due to the presence of blue-green algae in the water (this happens often at the end of July or in August). Parking is free when the beach is closed for swimming.

Very nice park. Even on weekend not too many ppl. Pay to enter though, but hey... Would be best if the swimming area were a bit bigger.

Let this park be the example of why millions of Quebecoise flock to the beautiful parks of Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire and New York in the USA for Nature. This park is proof that the Quebecoise have no interest in saving, or protecting local natural ecosystems.

Very nice park, specially for families! If you're camping don't forget to bring loonies for your douche!
