Beautiful campground, the beach area is great with sand at the water and a grass hill. The sites are big but sandy so kids track the sand everywhere. Some of the cleanest campground showers I've seen. Firewood is 12 dollars a bundle, more expensive then anywhere I've ever heard of. Showers are 2 dollars for 3 minutes but worth it as they are clean, with hot water and good pressure. I will come back but will bring my own firewood. The staff is very friendly and helpful

Emerald Lake has been one of the most beautiful lakes that i have been to. Our group of 8 had reservations for 1 campsite with running water but ended up reserving another one because we had 3 vehicles and there wasnt enough space for all 3 in one campsite. The lake is a short walk away from the campgrounds. The lake itself is small, in which was perfect for our canoe. The bathrooms are modern, clean and well-maintained. However, the only slight disappointment we had was the lack of fire pit, instead we had a small grill in which we were able to cook. Would highly recommend Emerald lake, and we will be staying here again in the near future.
