I was visiting Hume Lake this past weekend and wow! They had an enormous amount of kids at their camp. Looked fun and like an amazing experience! I'm sure it's a great camp. They have plenty of cabins, recreation activities and there isn't cell service so it's just like the camps back in the day! Pretty great setup.

We went to the Christian Camp area to do some kayaking. I hadn't seen a lot online about what we could do there, so we kinda just headed up that way to do some exploring. Thankfully, as a visitor, you can have access to just about the whole camp except the swimming pool. We had dinner there, rented kayaks, explored a creek and had a great time! BTW, the milkshakes are AMAZING!!! It was great to be in a place that plays worship music smack dab in the middle of the most amazing God created view (lake with mountains in the background!). The Staff was very friendly and we had a great time!

I am glad Hume lake is still around, my happiest memories are, praising Jesus in the 80s, watching Joel Weldon jam out, and the night time capture the flag style games. Keep the faith! I had that cassette, it was like being in heaven, an amazing place to be with family and friends I never realized how lucky I was to be there until now and I am glad we did go. I bet it is still like that, and maybe I will get a chance to see it again.
