I'm not sure I have the words to describe how completely disgusted we were with our visit, but I'll try. First of all, let me preface this by saying that I am downright cheap, so I will overlook a lot of things for a good deal, and it takes a lot to put me off. Bad service (not the case here, they were actually quite apologetic), and dirty accommodations (DEFINITELY the case here). Do NOT stay here, don't even think about it, not worth it. While the room had a general appearance of cleanliness, upon closer inspection, this was most definitely not the case. Towels had been used, and refolded on the rack (there was toothpaste on one, ffs). But here's the kicker. Someone, very recently, had a rather soft bowel movement ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE COMFORTER, which was then simply flipped back up onto the bed when it was made. As a healthcare professional for over twenty years, I can confirm that this was not only feces, but was, in fact omnivore poop. I'll spare you the exact details, but will say that this was definitely not "soap," as the owner claims. That's right, HUMAN FECES, folks. Now, I could go on describing the dated decor, tv from the 80s, tiny room, and electrical/plumbing that would not meet any current safety codes, but I would hope the literal poop factor would discourage anyone from staying here. No amount of savings is worth this. I still feel dirty.
