My son and I were up for a lacrosse tournament and only stayed the one night. The front desk people at check-in were super friendly, and even when we were leaving the maid asked us how we slept and if everything was good with our room! The hotel was quiet and our room was really clean. We had the continental breakfast which had everything that was meant to be hot was, and everything that should be cold was as well. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would not hesitate to stay at a Motel 6 somewhere else based on the experience from this stay. Hopefully all the rest of the Motel 6's are run in the same fashion as we will definitely stay at a Motel 6 again in other locations.

😁The front desk fella was great. Arrived quite late and he was very friendly and ready to serve his guests. 😁The room was very clean including the bathroom. The bed was a little too hard including the pillows. The tv is placed a little too high up. No coffee pot. There was a confrontation with one of the staff with one of the cleaning staff. We had heard while we were leaving the hotel. Not necessary to listen to it. Guests are there to enjoy their stay😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁 Steve&Stace

This is the place we always stay at and always will. It's clean, it's friendly and it's a pretty decent price. We really like the staff and they try hard to please. The blankets are very thin though and we bring an extra one of our own in with us. You can just turn up the heat but we like the feel of a thicker blanket. Also a coffee pot is not in the rooms and is nice to have in the morning. There is coffee downstairs available complimentary, but I don't always want to get ready to go down before I have a coffee.

Booked my reservation for three people several weeks in advance only to be told when we arrive that they had us booked into a room with only one bed. Was told this was the only room they had left. Was not happy about having to sleep on the floor after a long hard day. My other two friends that actually got to use the bed said it has very hard and uncomfortable. The front desk staff did offer a gift certificate for a free nights stay to apologize for the mix up. If they hadn't I would of only given one star. I asked if i could use the gift certificate for this stay as I don't know when I would be back in Stony Plain again. They agreed. So thankfully my room didn't cost us anything other than a good nights sleep. Even if the reservation had not been messed up i would probably not be back here.

Completely average, but in a good way. Quaint rooms, no bells and whistles. Room was tidy, but the bathroom could've used a mop in the corner. Service was fine. If you need a cheap place to stay for a night and aren't looking for anything luxurious, then this will do just fine
