The cons: The property is older and is looking shabby in a few areas. The elevator has an unsettling bounce when it stops, the elevator thresholds are dirty. That’s not a big deal in itself, but it’s a cleanliness detail. The pool is in the basement and small. No hot tub. There’s no free breakfast. Pros: The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Staff are very helpful, and gave us a late checkout. Verdict: there are lots of hotels in the area, look around and you’ll get a newer option with more amenities for only a few dollars more. If you just want a room and no fancy pool or breakfast, this hotel will do just fine.

We enjoyed out stay at Cedar Park Inn,Edmonton. The parking lot had enough space and was accessible for north and south bound traffic. It was close to the Red Lobster and superstore. When the heating unit did not respond, the front desk brought us a heater we could plug in. The Internet worked well. Appreciate that it is a well known hotel, cab drivers knew where to go when we gave them the hotel name. The staff excellent

The place is somewhat dated but clean and tidy. My room was a single king bed. The room was comfortable. However, the attached restaurant would not do room service even though it is a feature of the hotel (not sufficiently staffed?). There are many restaurants close by. The elevator was out of service and the toilet in my room ran every few minutes. To be fair I didn’t report the toilet because it didn’t bother me too much. Had I stayed longer, it would have driven me a little mad.

Clean rooms. My room was updated . But small. Nice lobby and friendly staff . Tiniest pool in the world. Restaurant is dark and there was never any staff inside so it always looked closed. Couldn’t get room service either . But overall my room experience was excellent

I was pleased with the value of my stay. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. 1 elevator was a bit rough but we just used the other one. Only real issue is the room cards demagnetized easily. They are working the kinks out of a new system. All in all it was a pleasant stay.
