What more could you want in a National Park than to have a log cabin type decorated lodge. $500+ Canadian per night is not worth the price for the king room with 4 poster bed though. And on top of that you have to pay for parking. Very clean and neat hotel. The room has no air conditioning but it was 26+ (approx. 82) outside and warmer in the room. Main areas have air. It is a great location being right downtown Banff.

Nice hotel, with a lot of wood in the rooms, just like lot of the winter hotels in Banff. They do have an elevator and stairs. It is not a normal hotel if you look at the floor plan. Rather difficult to get used to. Breakfast is rather simple and for lunch or dinner you need to look somewhere else. But there are enough cafe's and restaurants in the streets around the hotel. The room we had was large enough, but somehow my allergy got worse in the hotel. Outside the hotel it stopped again, so maybe there is a lot of dust in the air???? I don't know, but something triggered my allergy in the hotel.

Great location, friendly staff. The room we had was quite spacious. Good value for money bearing in mind the price we paid.

Nice lodge. It is quite a maze just to reach the breakfast nook. Room is small but good enough. Breakfast is just the ordinary. Parking is quite dificult to navigate specially with larger SUV or truck.

Not at all worth the money. I paid $168 for one night for my 3 day stay of 2 queen size bed room and it was biggest mistake of my life. Room doesn't has the basic facilities like Air Conditioning, Microwave Oven, Fridge. And the internet was worse. It was slower than 2G network and when I asked to front desk about it, the person told me that may be too many people uses the internet and I can come to main gallery area for better network and all. Please don't waste money over here and choose hotels little far from city where you'll enjoy your stay as well as nature around you.
