This hotel and place in general has a very big problem: lack of staff, specially during high season, and it hurts (our pockets) when you need them. They are definitely not ready to feed their customers during breakfast and it seems like a constant problem everywhere you go in the Jasper and Banff area. They should be open and frank with their business and not take more people that they can actually handle. It’s just a shame the overly priced services and food in this place. You can have same or even better service for a more reasonable price further west. Ps: I still think that British Columbia and its west coast is a much better country for everything (living and hosting newcomers/tourists)

Enjoyed our stay very much. Staff at both the front desk and the cafe were very friendly! The only negative about the hotel is that there is NO A/C IN THE ROOMS .. We didn't realize this when booking that it says fan's on the website. There is A/C in the hallway and there is a vent in the ceiling that blows lightly cool air in the room but we still found the room hot. Unless you leave the balcony door open. Hot tub is nice to relax by. The fireplace is a nice touch to it! Cafe on the main floor was great! The staff there great and the Chia Latte is delicious! Definitely recommend!

I’ve stayed at 8 hotels in Banff over the years and this one takes the Cake. Quick negative to get it done and over with, no AC in the rooms. But a great fan and a decent breeze through the room. Inside the hotel is an outdoor hot tub with a fireplace. We stayed in the room with the queen and two singles and It was great- Just what the pictures online showed. We put the baby to bed and then sat on the balcony with wine all night. Some noise from the road but that’s not the hotels fault. It’s clean, friendly staff and a great breakfast included

I think June is the priciest in Banff in any hotels. Good thing they have free good breakfast. Service is good as well. Rooms are small but are well design that utilize every space. The living room makes up for it. If you are driving, they have free parking and street parking. Their free internet is fast.

I loved the clean, modern feel of this hotel. It felt very European in style. Adding to the Euro feel was the fact that some corridors and especially the elevator were a bit tight to navigate in my rather large wheelchair. Still, I'd give an A- grade on accessibility.
