Stayed here for an overnight trip to go skiing at sunshine. The room was adequate for the price we paid, the beds were nice, clean and comfy. They have a pool and jacuzzi downstairs for recreational use. It's situated on Banff Ave so you can just walk basically anywhere from the hotel which also has underground parking for those cold winter nights. Staff were nice and accommodating. 4/5

A horrible experience. It was a cold winter night in a room where the heating system was not good enough to take care of a gap between the A/C equipment and the wall, meaning that frigid wind from outside was entering our room. When I called the reception, they said nothing could be done and that I should use something to block the cold air, I used a towel (see photos). I asked for extra blankets to at least keep us warm, 03 blankets were delivered, old and with holes! On top of that, 9 am we had an employee knocking our door to "remember us" that we had to leave that day.. 9 am, knocking our door! We were very aware that the check out time was at 11 am. When I explained all of this to the management, they went to the room to check, and they said that the air entering the room from the outside was "minimal", in other words, they admitted that there was a gap in the room! But, what really shows the lack of customer service of this place was when they said that we probably were more "sensitive" to the cold because we are from a warmer place... I am living in Canada! But, be aware that if you are coming from another country, this hotel expects that it is your "sensitivity problem" to deal with the cold from a gap in their rooms. They said the blanket will be discarded and that the employee that knocked in our door was a new one. We got a 40% discount, as "room adjustment", but I definitely do not recommend this place.

Got a room used by a smoker in a non-smoking hotel. The house cleaning staff forgot to make the room not available while cleaning it, so the room was available to be booked online. Reason why we ended up with it, since it was the last one available in a packed hotel. Also, the house cleaning did NOT do their job professionally as they forgot to move the furniture around while vacuum cleaning (which they forgot to do as well): we found a pair of men's underwear underneath a chair and a sock underneath the bed. Would definitely NOT recommend.

Second time staying at High Country Inn and its a great hotel and will definitely be returning! The location is awesome being only a couple blocks from all the shops and restaurants. Rooms are very clean and nicely decorated with awesome staff! With this being are second time here Trevor recognized us right away treating us GREAT with exceptional service! Sam also offered the same great service upon check-in!

Had a great time! My boyfriend and I booked here for a nice quick weekend snowboard getaway. The rooms were a great size for the two of us (we shared a King Room). Experienced the hot tub and pool, definitely a nice way to end a day of snowboarding. We happen to get a 'mountain view room' and was actually surprised at the decent view. I love being located off the Banff strip, it makes it easy for walks into town. Would recommend for an easy simple getaway at a fair price. Thanks!
