Fantastic Hotel, staff were very good and went out of their way to smile and make sure everything was going well with your stay. Breakfast was good, we used some meeting space which was great, unfortunately I didn't have time to use the gym or anything else, but the location is pretty good, about a 10-minute walk to the main part of the town. Room was in good order and beds very comfortable. Bathroom was 8/10 - I would only say the bathtub needs updating. They didn't replenish the tea each day, but the bottles of water returned each day. TV didn't have many HD channels but then again you're not in Banff to watch TV anyway. Excellent temp control. Enough charging ports and outlets. A kettle is a nice touch for tea! I'd come back here.

Overpriced for what you get. Front desk staff are incompetent and do not follow explicit instructions. Room furnishings and fixtures are old and worn. Often had to call down to get towels as cleaning staff frequently forgot them. Rooms were marginally clean at best. No room service of any kind after 10:00pm. Pop machine on my floor wouldn’t work and no one would bring anything up. I had to go down if I wanted anything. Stayed in a junior suite for five days in March 2018. Was terribly disappointed. When I expressed my concerns to the manager she made excuses instead of taking ownership or apologizing. When I complained to Marriott they assured me someone from the hotel would contact me within 3-5 business days to resolve my issues. No one did. Paid over $300 a night. Was supposed to include breakfast. They claimed I didn’t have it included because I got the AMA rate when booking. So I saved about $4 a night on the room so I could spend $30 a day for my wife and I to have breakfast in the hotel. Needless to say we usually walked somewhere better. I stay in Banff at least once a year. I will never stay in this hotel again. I have had better stays in $59 highway motels. And to add insult to injury I had to nag the manager to get my Marriott points and they still haven’t credited me the nights - so despite the stupid amount I spent to stay at this dive of a hotel, I’m no closer to reaching the next tier of Marriott rewards.

This hotel has been phenomenal and exceeded all of our expectations. The rooms are really nice, clean and have comfortable beds. The pool area is stunning but most importantly the staff here is fantastic. Everyone we have encountered has gone out of their way to ensure we have everything we need. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff were helpful, friendly and accomodating - they really made our stay! Our room was comfortable and clean and even though we were on the first floor it wasn't noisy. It was also great that the Delta is early on in the shuttle route, so it wasn't hard to get a seat. Plus they had tea and coffee in the morning and Apple cider after skiing. Great experience!

Stayed in room 301. Large and clean with a fireplace. A bit of a walk to downtown for shops and restaurants. I had to beg for towels my second night so that I could properly shower. Overall I think the hotel is too pricey and unremarkable except for the fact it is totally a non-smoking facility. Also, be sure you buy a park parking pass or you will get an unexpected ticket to deal with.
