Place is comfortable enough. Staff are friendly. Bounce sheets are left around the room to keep it smelling good. Main concern is the entire place needs a good vacuum.

My biggest complaint about this place was the person who was staying above me was a heavy walker and they seemed to pace every night at midnight for about half an hour. That has nothing to do with the hotel however. It was clean and the bed was comfy and the staff was friendly. There were a couple of cosmetic things like you could see they'd recently replaced the toilet because the wallpaper showed the outline of the old one. They were doing some kind of renovations I think because there was a utility trailer parked in the back where most of the parking was making it narrow in the back. One of the rooms was being kept as a storage room with the door left open so it looked kind of cluttered. The hallway kind of smelled like cigarette smoke which is odd since you weren't supposed to smoke inside. But all in all I was very satisfied with my stay

Hotel staff was very rude. Room was dirty. Hallways and lobby were dirty. We booked a room with two queens. He confirmed at the counter that we wanted two beds. We said yes. He gave us a room with one small bed. When immediately came down to ask to change it and he accused us of having used the room. Eventually he switched us to a room that had clearly been smoked in and it had the heat over blasted(maybe trying to get rid of the smell?) They also decided to lock the door and put a sign up that says to call to get access to the main lobby. That would have been perfectly acceptable if they had let us know in advance or even answered the phone....someone happened to walk by and let us in. What a joke. Don’t waste your money here.

There are two Super8's in Red Deer. This one is repulsive. There is no elevator (I don't care about this, but something to keep in mind), the hallways have garbage (not just a dropped cup, but full bags), haven't been vacuumed. Our room has dirt, and beverage (that's putting it extremely politely) spills ON THE WALLS, our tub has clearly not been cleaned (so none of us are showering this weekend), the nonsmoking rooms smell like smoke, I could go on. If you're planning on staying here, perhaps consider any and all cleaning supplies you've seen on TV. If you were planning on pulling into the parking lot to pull a u-turn, you'll probably leave feeling the grime and dirt from this place.

An incredibly acrid musty odour permeates the lobby. Not quite as bad in the room. Blankets were dirty, with hairs and detritus on top, sheets and pillowcases were stained, torn, and dirty. Found rotten food scraps on the floors under the bed, crumbs on the table. All in all disgusting. Slept in my pickup truck in the parking lot.
