My husband and I used the best western plus in Lacombe to get married. The ball room worked perfectly. The room has a divider so we were able to have one side set up for the ceremony and the other side partially set up for the reception. The staff was absolutely wonderful to work with. We used the hotel caterer, Wendy, and the meal was perfect. It was also a very cold day, so we were able to use the barn wood accent wall in the boardroom for family photos. They turned out great. The girls all got ready in one of the suites. It was a good size and had everything we needed in the morning. My husband and myself stayed there after as well. The ballroom also had everything we needed. It has a speaker system that we used for our music, a projector and projector screens, as well as microphones. Overall, I would highly recommend using this hotel for any future events or weddings.

We were in Red Deer for a lacrosse tournament. Unfortunately all of the hotels in Red Deer were booked when we tried to find a room so we looked at areas around Red Deer. We ended up booking our two lacrosse teams in to the Best Western in Lacombe. It was a 20 minute drive from where the kids were playing but after staying there, it was well worth it! The rooms were beautiful, clean, and comfortable! The hotel was nice and quiet too even with multiple sports teams staying there. The breakfast was good and the staff were amazing and helpful! The kids loved the pool and the water slide! We booked a banquet room for one of the evenings so that we could have a pizza party for the kids. There are some nice fields, a park, and a skate park behind the hotel. Also, for parents on our team who wanted to camp instead, they just camped a block down from our hotel. So even though they didn't stay in the hotel they were still included in the team festivities. If we are in Red Deer for another lacrosse tournament, we would definitely stay here again.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Best Western Plus Lacombe Inn and Suites. The room was very clean and the bed and pillows comfortable. Staff were welcoming and most accommodating. Breakfast was more than we expected and served beautifully. The staff looking after breakfast were the friendliest and most helpful people I have ever met in a hotel setting. (The home baked beans were awesome - usually encounter those for breakfast only when travelling in Scotland and Ireland)! We would definitely return to this hotel and as well recommend it to others. Thank you

We stayed here with our daughter and her three young children. The hotel and furnishings are beautiful and the staff are friendly and helpful. We took full advantage of the pool, water slide and hot tub! The kids had a great time. The free breakfast was yummy with a wide variety of foods...sausage eggs waffles oatmeal fruit... just to name a few. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Great property, was here for a ball tournament, our 3rd visit, , super convenient. Staff great and beds are really good. Complimentary breakfast is better than most, hot items, prepared oatmeal, large accommodating area. Place to wash your clothes if need be. Great place for leisure or business.
