Gross! The rooms are old and the beds are uncomfortable. I feel if this hotel charged $60 a night it may justify it. Very old and very run down. All rooms smell like smoke. Extremely small TVs in some rooms. You are close to the beach and bars. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s not a pet room I had, this hotel is completely run down. The towels we had were old dark green towels that smell of smoke. I was afraid to even crawl into the bed. They charged us $136!!! For what I don’t know. Front desk staff not friendly or very helpful and had family staying in the hotel too. The bathroom was not clean and the filthy rug was so dirty I had to keep socks on at all times and my socks were so dirty. Pay a little extra and go to a clean and tidy hotel, this is one of the worst I’ve ever stayed in.

Good: It was by the lake and we had a nice cozy cabin, nice shower and bathroom etc Bad: I saw some water coming from the ceiling but I think it was only because of the rain, beds were different?!

Though this hotel is not "fancy", it had everything we needed in the kitchenette (except an oven). Couldn't find a hairdryer, which wasn't a deal-breaker, so be sure to bring your own. Remember to bring oil or margarine if cooking, as we almost forgot. In need of some repairs, but motel was busy and felt safe, and well priced for what it was (75 a night at the time). Just a short drive to Red Deer if traveling for a conference.

Find something else if you can. Place ripped a number of my friends off this summer. For not washing and drying your own cups. Another for a broken cupboard that was already broken. Stolen towels when there wasnt 2 sets in the room when they got there. You have to do a walk through with these people of your room. They will charge your card for anything after. They have an excellent location so they will always get business. Just be careful when you stay here. If its not cleaner than when you went in. They will charge you.....
