Visited last night for dinner. The menu isn't very diverse, but not bad for a quick bite. They have sandwiches, wraps, fish and chips, pasta, soup... Salad. I ordered butter chicken and it had good taste but it was super spicy for tastes bud that can't manage spices. It wasn't listed as spicy, so I ordered inadvertently. I hated it! I was hungry as a street dog and even though I got my belly filed, I only made it by drinking all the water available. I hated eating just because I was hungry. Oh! I had asked for a lentil soup and a salad as appetizers, I forgot. The salad was great (the one with cranberries) but the soup was salty and light. I was expecting some sort of cream. Nope, it was very liquid. My friends ordered the pasta, wraps, some other chicken and they were happy. My husband and I ate 2 lentil soups, 1 salad, 1 butter chicken, 1 pasta and no drinks for $100. Gratitude was included ($18%). I can't finish without saying, it was EXTREMELY cold, it was raining outside (summer) and everyone in the table (8 people) was freezing. Very uncomfortable. Some other day I guess would be nice to seat in the patio.

Good hotel for the price! Corner units have this amazing view of the river as well! Would recommend if you are on a budget and want to be centrally located. Also, craft beer market is around the corner which is great for late night eats and drinks!

Everything about our stay here has been perfect. They very generously upgraded us to a high floor with one of the best hotel views I've ever had. Staff are very kind and the rooms are spacious and clean! Extremely comfortable bed too. Wonderful place to stay!!

At an ideal location in the heart of Edmonton, the Courtyard by Marriott Edmonton Downtown is an excellent property. You're literally next door to both the Shaw Conference Centre and the scenic North Saskatchewan River, making it a good base for business and leisure travellers alike. The rooms are good, obviously upgraded from a very dated style, but lack some of the finer touches and conveniences seasoned business travellers may expect, such as USB charging ports or a microwave. The property also had a good little business centre and a nice, if somewhat pricey, restaurant. We did not explore to find out if there is a pool or fitness room. The one thing that elevated this hotel was the staff, who were without fail courteous and professional. If you are looking for a good option when picking a hotel in Edmonton, the Courtyard by Marriott is a great choice!

The rooms are nice and the beds are very comfortable. Free WiFi in the whole building. The views of the River Valley are awesome as well. The front desk and room cleaning staff are very friendly. The only issue I had was that there wasn't a free continental breakfast that came with high cost of the room and their room service was highly overpriced. Also the bottled water in my room wasn't complimentary. Would have been five stars otherwise.
