This is a little gem on your highway 1 trip through Alberta. Great service, attentive staff and great breakfast. Highly recommended and my second stay over the past 2 years. Also the beds were comfortable and I got a great nights rest on a long road trip.

Overall I give this hotel/motel a thumbs up! I would stay here again. First the good. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Prices are really good. We paid $75 per night per room for 2 queen beds. We booked 2 rooms so I think they gave us a deal. There were 2 doors to our room (accessible from outside and inside). Free Wifi, dedicated Internet box for each room so it was very reliable and fast. Rooms are very nice (see the pictures I posted). Microwave, mini fridge, and shaw cable TV are provided. Smitty's and Flying J gas station literally 30 second walk from the hotel. The not so great. It is near the highway and semi-truck parking lot so it is a little noisy. Air conditioning in room works really well, but it is very noisy.

Got in late, when entering room felt some cold air from ac so assumed it was just turned on cause the room was still so hot. We went straight to bed and the room never cooled off. At 4 we propped the door too cool the room off. At 6 am when we checked out I mentioned the ac didnt work AT ALL and we had to prop the door too outside too cool it off, and the desk clerk didn’t seem to care at all!

WoW...what a service compared to just 85 a night during high season. Breakfast was very good, room extra clean and very quiet place. I highly recommend it for any one passing by.
