You Pay Extra for Sleep, Apathy and Defensiveness no Charge! I asked for a quiet room and was told that I was being put in a quiet room. At 745 am I was awoken by very loud banging. I brought this to the attention of the hotel and was met with apathy and defensiveness. I asked why I was put in a room right beside the laundry chute and they said it was the only room on that floor in "my price range". Hmmmm. I guess you pay extra for sleep. I then asked what can I expect from Super 8. They said quiet hours are between 11pm and 7am. I guess if you work late or are up late all bets are off after 7 am. I usually enjoy the breakfast at Super 8. The breakfast here is GROSS!

Apparently you can book the pool here for parties-who knew? It was a great experience. The facility was very clean and the staff were very professional. I e never actually stated here, but would definitely recommend staying here based on how our group was treated and how hygienic it is.

First room had a heater that rattled so loudly that it kept us up all night. They switched rooms the next day for us but still a big inconvenience. New room had a quiet heater but one of the beds was broken. The pool is nice but unuseable in the morning unless you want to go for a polar swim. Way too cold. The breakfast is not very good and too short. Building is in the middle of a big shopping area so that's good or bad depending who you are. Literally next door to a Walmart. It's a building in need of a refresh

My son and I along with our 2 dogs drove from Manitoba to Calgary in a snow storm. I was buying a vehicle from a near by dealersship. We got to Super 8 after midnight and checked in. However the credit card I had brought with me had a very small limit and we had used it to buy gas. So after checking in we were informed that the credit card declined. I offered to pay by debit as I knew there was a very large sum available. No that wasn't an option. I offered to leave the dogs in the truck. The fellow said he wasn't comfortable with that. There was an extreme cold warning. So to make a long story short He turned 2 humans and 2 dogs out into the night. We ended up sleeping sort of, in the truck all night. Thank you Super 8, I went to the dealership exhausted and puchased my vehicle. I had to freshen up in a gas station wash room I must add there looked to be maybe 8 rooms rented in a big hotel. They must be doing a great business to be able to turn people away. 1Why is debit not an option? 2 If its not ok to leave dogs in a vehicle Why is it ok to put 2 humans and 2 dogs at risk.? I wil never use Super 8 again. I learned I can sleep in my vehicle if out of options.
