Stayed at this hotel for five nights when visiting the Calgary Stampede. I am a tour manager and we had a two groups of 45 people, 90 in total from the UK. The rooms were nice and spacious and have recently refurbished. The breakfasts had plenty of choice and the waiters and waitresses were very pleasant and helpful. Alonso and his staff went out of there way to help us, The world cup quarter finals were on and England were playing, Alonso organized in the room next to the breakfast area a big screen and projector, He also brought his laptop to broadcast the match onto the screen while we were having breakfast and England won their match. We cannot thank him enough for going to so much trouble for us. I am looking forward to staying at the hotel next year when the Stampede is on again. I would defiantly recommend this hotel as the C- train is only a 10 minute walk and there are a lot of shops and restaurants close by. Harold (tour manager)

If i could give them a 10 star rating, I WOULD! I have been staying with this hotel off an on for business in the past and currently, my husband spends the most time at this hotel due to work. this hotel has a refreshing "home" like feel and is always clean. rooms have been upgraded and the beds are SUPER comfy!. the staff are super friendly and are prepared to go above and beyond for ALL your needs. With the points program they have in place, we quickly became platinum members. gaining access to club lounge which offers an amazing breakfast(free) in the morning & appetizers around dinner time. The hotel has also gone over and above and fulfilled our request for a bagged lunch so we don't have to eat out at fast food or restaurants when we are away from home. I have stayed at my fair share of 5 star and 5 Diamond hotels and they don't even come CLOSE to the experience i get when staying at the Delta. We are going to be life Long customers of this hotel chain. Thank you for always making our experiences completely OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!

The recent renovations, staff and pool at the Delta Calgary South make this a really great place for a family getaway or business travel. I've been here for both. What I particularly appreciated was getting greeted at the front desk like a VIP... Mr. _____ how can we make your stay more memorable? I just got the feeling like I was appreciated, which it seems is becoming more and more rare to get in the world of "do it yourself" travel. I stay at many hotels - and the staff and amenities at Delta South were memorable... and very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Room was decent. Nothing special. Had no hot water in the shower. Front desk didn't seem to care as it wasn't repaired. Construction was happening on the balcony, so it wasn't available to us. They thought 6am was a good time to start working so we woke to the sounds of impact wrench and scaffolding hitting out window. Again, front desk seemed not to care about the early wake up call.

It's a large hotel that spans across the street with a raised walkway. It would be a good hotel for a Family Getaway with multiple pools, hotubs and water slides for the kids. It's also a conference center able to handle small, medium or large events. The staff is very good and professional. The rooms are fairly modern and well-appointed. Delta hotels is now a part of Marriott so the service is consistent with the Marriott brands.
