Two pieces of highly recommended fish and a good pizza later, we really enjoyed our experience. Good food and a family-friendly atmosphere. Recommended for anyone looking for a bite downtown

Three of us for dinner, at service my steak that was ordered medium was blue rare. They took it back with not a word, and my companions ate while I waited. When they finally brought back my steak (cooked perfectly this time) again not a word, just put it on the table and left. By then my friends were finished so I ate alone essentially. When the bill arrived I had been charged full price as well as being charged extra for the side, even though the menu stated one side was included. The waitress refused to discuss it further and said the manager was not around. So I sent an email the next morning just saying I thought it was handled badly and then I was overcharged besides. The answer I received 5 days later basically said it should have been handled differently but oh well. I will probably never return because the customer service is very lacking though the food was pretty good. Disappointing.

Excellent pub fare. Traditional, well-kept atmosphere. Quick service. Worth stopping by when you visit old town Okotoks.

I like this place. Relaxed and casual atmosphere. Decent food and decent beer selection. Okotoks downtown can get pretty dead in the evening so The Duke often closes a bit earlier than one might expect. Good place to bring kids too.
