I've been here several times, and both the food and service were always excellent. This time was generally good: the food lived up to my expectations, but the service was not especially quick, although it was very friendly. Waters were not refilled. To be fair, it was a Sunday evening and there was an event going on as well; I would still highly recommend this place, and will return. If you're omnivorous, the fish & chips, shepherd's pies, and really everything else are excellent. I'm vegetarian and usually get the veggie burger, which is better than most.

Lovely place to stay at! We had a suite room with a separate bath tub inside the living room, the room was spacious and well-decorated, felt homely and safe during our stay at the Georgetown Inn. One thing, however, was that I noticed the bedspread and towels were not as clean as they should be, but it was fine as we had more towels than we needed. Their outdoor bar area closes at 11pm and it wasn’t noisy at all during our stay. Note that the walls might be a bit thin inside but it wasn’t too much of a problem for us. Great location and lots to see around in Canmore!

We had a lunch here during the 2018 May long weekend. We self seated on the patio and had a fine view of the Three Sisters. The weather was very warm and accomadating. We enjoyed a meal and beverages. Jason our wait staff brought us water and menus to start us off.

I’ve stayed here a few times and absolutely loved it but this last time was so disappointing! Room looked good when we walked in at a glance until I noticed it was filthy! I don’t think it got cleaned at all just a couple new towels. So much dust I think it’s been a year at least since the last time. Not vacuumed, the tub had black hairs in it along with thick dried up soap scum from the last people to rent the room. I asked for it to be cleaned they said they did but it clearly was not done so I asked again and she went up with me this time and I watched her do it. A poor job at that, sprayed a little windex to clean it which first of all should be disinfectant to kill other people’s germs. I got so frusturated that I cleaned it myself. Hairs in my bed so who knows if the sheets were even changed I was scared to sleep in it! And no cookies upon arrival like stated in their add for the room just an empty plate with someone else’s left over crumbs from the last people to stay In the room. So upset I’ll never go back! Especially when the room cost $400 per night! You expect a little more cleanliness and respect. As we were leaving the staff didn’t seem to care that much that we had a filthy experience and gave us a whole $40 off. Very sad.
