had a problem with the sink not draining. the person at the motel came right away and fix the sink. They also have free continental breakfast in the lobby each morning.

Stayed here in 2013 when the flooding kept us from going to Canmore. It was a nice place, where the cast & crew of Brokeback Mountain stayed during the filming of that movie. Just a small mom & pop place, but was clean & comfortable, the folks there were very friendly & helpful. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd stay there again.

To be fair I got the last room the night of a blizzard. He quoted $129. I suggested that was a lot of money for one guy for a few hours. So he knocked off $20. There were two light bulbs missing from table lamps. A small plastic hook on the floor made me wonder how thoroughly it had been vacuumed. The heat had been turned down and took a couple of hours to reach a comfortable room temperature. The room was spacious with two queen size beds. They were clean and of medium comfort. Parking is near the room. It is located centrally to most of the town.

1- Room smelled of damp and stale air. Washroom did not have a sink Washroom did not have an exhaust fan. Washroom’s shower was 1/10 2- Mattress was 9/10 3- It is advised to drive another 45 minutes to Lethbridge and stay there in a variety of decent accommodations.

My brother and I stayed here during a November snow storm. We walked into the office, and it was covered in broke back mountain memorabilia. We then proceeded to our room. There were beetles everywhere. We went to the guy at the front desk. His exact words were “ the flying ones? Yeah they come indoors when it gets cold out. Don’t worry they don’t bite.” He then proceeded to pick a couple up and throw them outside. On top of all this, the heat in the bathroom didn’t work, and it was damn near the -10 outside temperature. Pretty awesome after a warm shower. I had to give it at least a star because our truck was in the shop so we couldn’t sleep in that, and it was marginally better than camping.
