Stayed at this location for one night while on business in MH. One night was enough. I can see how a sports team, kids, and those who don't travel 6 months out of the year would enjoy this hotel. But once you receive a certain level of service at another location (from the same brand), you expect it everywhere. Unfortunately, that level of service doesn't exist here and there's no consistency. I've mentioned it before, if Hilton were to pay attention to their Hampton brand, there might just be a level of consistency with products/service that would exist across all locations. Independently owned or not.
- No welcome bottle of water (with my corporate logo on it) or a small gift
- 20 cent shower head which barely dispenses water - I'm glad I don't have long hair
- Online check-in/pick your room/grab your key card and go never worked. What's the point of paying extra and being a Hilton rewards member if basic services don't work?
Just an FYI, checked in to the Saskatoon Hampton Inn, complimentary bottle of water at check-in. Plus, there was NO attitude at check-out when I asked why there was no printed copy of my bill under my door in the am. Apparently that's a service only for top tier Hilton members. Not only was the response demeaning, it wasn't true. Perhaps additional training for front desk staff (Shelby).
Measure yourself against the Hampton Inn in Sydney N.S., Saskatoon etc... Start there and you'll see what meeting (and exceeding) ones expectations actually means.
