Welcoming hotel with good housekeepers and friendly staff. Prices are reasonable. Ive been to some pretty bad hotels for the same price as The Midtowner and this place feels very homey and they take pride in keeping their stayers happy. Kitchenettes are very well equipped with enough pots n pans to cook a 5 course dinner, they have cable, and a nice bathtub with a tiled shower wall. Always tip your housekeepers and clean up after yourself.

This motel is undergoing some well planned renovation. The room is clean and includes a decent and fairly vintage little kitchenette, full-size refridgerator/freezer. Best of all is the owner who is a friendly and avid golfer. For those who appreciate a simple old-school motel, this place is good; especially given the truly lack-lustre environment. Fairview is best viewed from a vehicles rear-view mirror.

Overall, we were happy with our experience staying at the Midtowner while visiting Fairview to attend a meeting. The staff were friendly and helpful in getting us an early check-in. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and well-outfitted with a mini fridge and other basic amenities and curtains. There was also a good availability of parking. We would stay here again.
