Stayed in this hotel for 5 days when I was up for some training for work, this is one of the BEST hotels I've ever been to, not necessarily cuz it was the nicest or had the best stuff, because I've been to nicer, but the staff here were incredible, I think that other hotels need to take a lesson from them on hospitality. The hotel was nice, it was a smaller hotel but I was very happy with the facilities such as the fitness center, sauna and pool, also free breakfast was great. The bed was comfortable and the rooms were clean and tidy. I would absolutely suggest to anyone traveling in fort Mac to try and book here, you will not be disappointed at all. The people who work at the main reception are the most friendly people I've ever dealt with in a hotel.

My insurance company booked me in here for two weeks while repairs are done on my house, and I was dreading coming here with my cat. But this hotel is better than many 5 star hotels I’ve stayed in; and I’m amazed at the welcoming nature of the staff, the cleanliness, and the comfort of the rooms. This is the best kept secret in Fort McMurray. They have a modern fitness center, a hot tub, and a games room. And the front desk staff is amazing. Seriously, if you have to stay in a hotel in Fort McMurray, stay here.

Clean, spaceous and up to date. Continental breakfast was great and overflowing with food. I have some strict diet requirements and was able to eat hard boiled eggs and have coffee and juice. My other half had much more options available. Including fresh pancakes, bacon, sausage, toasted bagel, scrambled eggs and yogurt.

For being a hotel that prides itself in being "sustainable", you would think that there would be reusable utensils and bulk foods rather than the unsustainable alternatives. I was disappointed to see that the breakfast services offered plastic cutlery and stir sticks, and individual packets of condiments and sugar rather than having refillable containers. I was further shocked by the Keurig machines offered in the hotel rooms, as k-cups are impossible to recycle. In addition, the food selection was highly unsustainable as there were next to no vegan options available, besides an apple or cup of tea. Plant-based milks last much longer than dairy milks, and non-vegan foods contribute to the destruction of our natural environment. However, it should be noted that the staff was lovely and the amenities and room were wonderful!

Fantastic free breakfast and solid, wired internet. Nice and modern. The washrooms a bit small and the room I have has no bathtub but that seems to be the way of things now.
