😇"Maid Amends"😇 😁Short stay as we had been driving a long time and pulled into the hotel around midnight. 😁Room was clean/tidy. Queen bed was cozy. Quiet and did not hear a thing outside the room. 😫We were looking forward to a hot shower in the morning and unfortunately the faucet tap was broke. Tried calling down to the reception desk and no answer even on the 3rd time calling. 😎Went to the receptionist desk and spoke with the manager. She explained in a very kind demeanor for why there was not an answer for our calls to the front desk and as well she dealt with the shower issue professionally. 😁We received a fare percentage off the price of the stay and an upgrade for the next time we are in town. 😁We left the Sandman with a good taste rather than bad and we feel confident that we will stay again at the Sandman as we have always appreciated the classiness of the staff/hotel from our past adventures with the Sandman👍 Steve&Stace

Staff very friendly and helpful, centrally located in DT GP. Decent selection of restaurants that you can walk to from the hotel. A little weird to be in an "old room" while guys are renovating brand-new rooms on the other half of the same floor. If I knew this, I'd have asked for a "new" room!

One of my favorite hotels in GP. Clean rooms. They're currently in the middle of renovating, but hotel is clean and quiet. The newer rooms that are already done look great, nice and modern.

The wifi signal is good but super slow. You rather use cell signal if you can. The tv went out for one night. Certain rooms have no fridges and they won’t let you upgrade when staying for a week. Hot tub has no jets. And a train blows it whistle and drives by at night. The cleaning staff I’m sure are delightful but don’t clean much. My room was so tiny and crappy hard to tell. In my techs rooms dusty every day, they never made it better over 3 days. Still dusty

This hotel was a great stay. The only issue I had was that it was a bit cold because the weather had a temperature drop during a lot of heat. As a result, I turned off the AC unit, but could not turn the heater on as the thermostat was disconnected for summer weather.
