Pleasantly surprised! Booked online the day-of as I was travelling down from Edmonton via Drumheller with family, on our way to Fort MacLeod. Arrived later than expected, so I called the motel to inquire about desk hours (they had someone on til 10:30pm) and said we would be arriving 11:15-30, and they said no problem they'd have someone stay up. Motel is modest on the outside (obviously an older building), but inside was very clean and tidy. Got two double -queen rooms and both were very clean and quite nice and did not have that "old motel" smell, they were surprisingly pleasant. Both my parents and aunt (in their 60s and 70s) had no complaints on the quality of the beds, and commented that the motel was very nice and quiet. Breakfast was good and the man working (owner I think) asked if there was any food we needed more of, and he made us fresh eggs, pancakes, and brought us boiled water for tea. Very reasonable accommodations for the price, especially compared to what else was nearby and easily 1.5x the price. Would stay here again.

Very nice management. Very clean rooms. Door to outside in each room for easy access to your vehicle. Very good price for what you get and the bed and pillows are very comfortable. We will stay there every time we go to Claresholm.

I could not have been more pleased with this motel. I was in Claresholm for several months for a temporary job and was given a long-term rate which was quite reasonable considering the motel satisfied all my requirements. There is also laundry which not all of the Claresholm motels offer. The management of the motel and of the restaurant were so kind and helpful. And the room was very comfortable. Highly recommended.

I've just spent 4 days/3 nights at the Best Seven Inn. Pros: Bed and pillows were comfortable. The old fashioned heater unit worked brilliantly, and the air exchange helped cool the room down for sleeping comfortably at night; cannot speak to the AC as it was -20C so I just turned the fan on. The rate was extremely reasonable Dinner at the attached restaurant was reasonable & tasty. Management was very friendly & courteous Rooms were clean TV was big, new & internet speeds were good enough to stream Netflix & play xbox Cons: Shower was horrible; had two and a half settings; flay fresh or sputter/ drip. The half setting (literally between the two) gave some semblance of pressure, but half the water shot straight down Furniture other than the bed were extremely worn & uncomfortable Overall an acceptable stay, considering the rate.

The rooms were nice and clean and better then expected for the price. The outside of the rooms and the outside of the hotel are pretty rough looking. The "FREE BREAKFAST" while a full breakfast buffet, was made by an owner of the hotel and NOT a chef! The food was edible, but not at all what I would call good by any strech.
