TL:DR - Great hotel. Clean & updated, renovated rooms. 24 hour breakfast access downstairs. Quiet hotel (could have thought we were only ones staying that night) Superb staff. Words will never do enough to say thank you for your kindness Sherry. So we called looking for rooms in Ponoka. My first thought was a hotel with a pool for the kids, as after a long drive it would hopefully can them down along with tiring them out. Unfortunately by the time we finalized plans the hotel with the pool was full. (To our fortune we would find out) Next I saw good reviews for the Stampeder Inn, so I called it. Found they had 2 rooms, side by side and recently renovated. Found out from family in town they keep the place renovated frequently. Booked the rooms for an overnight stay. I think we scared the one taking the call when I said there would be 2 adults and 7 kids (6 teenagers, 1 toddler, 1 newborn) With 2 Queens per room and a portable crib, lots of room for us all. Sherry (hope I spelt that right) was the one in the desk that night. After introductions, paperwork and payment she and the wife got to talking while me and the older kids carried bags in and settled in rooms. On the last trip I found my wife and Sherry talking in the room. Cooing over the newborn boy and our rambunctious 4 year old girl. To my surprise Sherry surprised us with a box of clothing for our 4 year old from her granddaughter that was going to go to donation anyway. I wish I could have said more than thank you. (After getting home and seeing the clothing it was all pretty much brand new) I know if we ever go back to Ponoka to stay, I will 100% be staying at The Stampeder Inn. I'll also tell everyone I know to stay there.

We recently stayed at the Stampeder Inn while in town for business for 4 days in February 2018. The welcome we had was excellent with Sherry giving me the tour of the facility and saying to me that this is your home away from home so please make yourself at home. The complimentary breakfast was available to us 24/7 which was great around a busy schedule. We stayed in a pet room which was very clean and had all the amenities that we and our dog required. The grounds were well maintained by Martin and Sherry both. With easy access to restaurants and the comfort of the rooms, I would highly recommend that you contact them any time that you are in the area and need a warm, inviting place to lay your head for 1 night or several nights.

Excellent staff and hosts, the best wifi ever, breakfast room open 24/7. Newly renovated clean comfortable rooms. There should be a chain of these everywhere! It's obvious why there isn't though, you can't get this level of caring from a group of faceless employees. Well done Stampeder!

The rooms are outstanding. The service is one of the best I have ever had. The breakfast and the facility is incredible. The only other one that came close to this was the 5 star in Dubai. To all enjoy you will not regret it. Thank you Sheree and Martin.
