Clean rooms, reasonable rate, free continental breakfast starting at 6 am till 10. Easy parking for big truck. Courteous staff, and even asked if I was a rewards member. I like staying here when I visit 100 Mile House

I stayed at this Super 8 when my car broke down dramatically on the highway and I had to get a tow here for me and my dog Jack, which was a traumatic experience. The staff were incredibly kind and sympathetic, so obliging and sweet, front desk clerks Kassi and Gail were just lovely. The pet-friendly room was spotlessly clean, bed was sooo comfortable, and it was extremely quiet too. Jack and I slept like logs. Next day when I had to wait for a friend to drive 300kms to collect me, Super 8 gave me a discounted rate to book extra time so Jack and I could wait in the comfort of the hotel room. I will never forget their kindness and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

We have mixed feelings about this hotel. My husband and I were traveling with our two small dachshunds and booked the hotel via its online website. The hotel was listed as one of 8 pet-friendly hotels in town. However, there was no comment area on the site that would allow us to notify them in advance that we had pets. There was also no indication on the website what (or if) there were pet charges to be paid upon arrival. Pros: Very clean room and comfortable beds. Minimal noise. Great access to Hwy 1. Plant based options at the morning breakfast bar. Cons: The on-site female "person-in-charge" would benefit greatly from a course on customer service. She had an "in your face" persona that is extremely off-putting. Although the hotel is pegged as "dog friendly" it did not give off that vibe. She was shocked when we told her that we had two pets and charged $20/pet which is no big deal, but would have been nice to know prior to arrival. ie: Put that info on the website. There was a one page bullet-list of dos and don'ts that we had to read and sign, which included penalties for allowing animals to sleep on the bed. Overall, we would never stay here again.

The 100 Mile Super 8 is a pretty comfortable motel. I found the beds to be comfortable and the rooms a god size. My main issue would be how they separate the bathroom with the toilet and bathtub in a little room with the door, and the sink open in the common area of the room. This arrangement is ok if you're intimate with your roommate, but not so if you're rooming with someone who you are less connected to.
