If I could give this place a zero I would. Absolutely gross. And sketchy... we came into lumby for a wedding and chose not to camp. Although we would have been better off. We all joked about this being the bates motel. And with it being the only one in town they dont have any competition.. It's a shame cause they had horrible customer service, the room smelled so strong of cat piss, the adjoining room door had no lock so the person from the other side could creep if they wanted. We ended up moving the fridge in front of the door. Although i will say there was no bed bugs as we did a thorough sweep and the sheets were clean so I guess that's something to be grateful for. But the floor was gross and the beds were very old.

Friendly staff, rooms are not bad. As good as can be expected for a budget motel. Nice location.

When an unfortunate turn of events resulted in us having to seek accommodation unexpectedly in Lumby, we were definitely skeptical of this motel. Mainly based on previous reviews and being the only motel in the area. We were however pleasantly surprised! We stayed in 3 different rooms during our week long duration here (we rented by day as we weren't sure how long we were going to need to stay) and couldn't be happier. All 3 rooms were clean and in great shape. The manager was incredibly friendly and beyond generous and accommodating. I think this motel got a bad rep from the past but that is clearly not the case now. There has been extensive ongoing renovations and we didn't have a problem at all. We would not hesitate to stay here again! Thanks again!

Nothing fancy, but the bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and quiet. I had a nice time. I was conveniently close to Lumby and with the Blue Ox next door.

Went to book a room last minute. When I got inside their was no one inside the office and was told to call. So I grabbed my phone from the car and got the number and called. Someone answered the phone and awkwardly opened the door going into the lobby while awkwardly talking to me on the phone. So instead of coming out when I originally opened the door he made me call their number.
