Was disappointed with my two night stay at the Salmon Arm motel. Room was dated, toilet did not function properly, room was not cleaned properly after first night, communication with staff was poor. Would rate it as a 3 out of 10 in comparison to other Super 8's I have stayed in.

I wish i could give -5 stars. Our room had an over powering smells of citrus and cleaner probably trying to make up for the fact that the entire hallway and front desk area smells like fish. The tub drained very slowly so while you showered you pretty much had a bath at the same time. Have to flush multiple times for anything to go down the room was not vacuumed it had garbage in the floor. Spilt coffee all over the wall. Ripped sheets. And for them to try and blame it on our dog who hadn't even come into the hotel yet! They do not clean the bathrooms well as the one we are in has brown walls and mold on the wall above the shower head and all over the toilet. Should've read the reviews first. Will never come back to this hotel. Will never recommend it to anyone. Ruined my experience for all super 8. Horrible place.

The breakfast was all carbs. No fruit, no yogurt. No water available. There were no napkins. The room is not worth the 139$ per night they are asking!! No kleenex. One shampoo, no conditioner. The air conditioner works sporadically. One set of towels, had to ask for more. The bedding needs to be replaced, the rooms need a major upgrade!!! You definitely don’t feel comfortable walking in bare feet in these rooms. For those with difficulty with stairs, this is not the place for you. No elevator. The front desk staff were nice, did the best with what they had to work with. Don’t waste your time, go elsewhere!

Can’t believe Super 8 has let their hotels degrade this much! Rooms are shoddy - curtains don’t even cover the window - AC is loud and noisy - no table for work - remote pathetic - no drink machine. I will definitely be checking rooms before I stay in a Super 8 again.

Rooms have bad odor but beds are not too bad. Staff seem friendly but the breakfast is terrible, no fresh fruit, just cereal, muffins, toast, and waffles. Its about what you would expect for the price point.
