Room was clean, except the bathroom ceiling was disgusting. Air conditioning was pathetic at best. Air conditioner was meant for a small bedroom, but was wall mounted in the room. Clerk was friendly but was not trained properly how to do his job. Walls are very thin, as are the curtains and bedding. Wifi was loaded with viruses. Overall, a terrible experience that's not worth $20 a night, forget about 100.

I booked online and was lucky to get a room that permitted a dog as our other booking was cancelled because of credit card problem. The outside of Motel 6 was clean and welcoming, but another couple was being shown to another room because the one they were assigned had not been cleaned. We entered our room and the first thing I saw was a window over the table and two chairs that was covered with plywood (Ugly to say the least) and then the bed. It had two flat pillows and a bedspread that was wrinkled and thin. I went to the car and brought in my afghan because I just knew I would be needing it. I then looked for bedbugs and thankfully found no evidence so I stayed in the room thinking I could deal with it. I had a shower the next morning and it wasn't bad because the water was hot. The towels were just alright. I left them hanging over the tub for the chambermaid..... I left and returned to the room that night to find no one had come into the room to change the towels so no shower for me as I didn't have any in the car... No one made the bed or emptied the garbage. Oh, the toilet paper roll gad about 12 squares left so I had to be careful because there was no extra roll anywhere!! I think this place is operated on a budget with no frills and I will remember to avoid it forever. At least the lock on the door worked.

Location of the motel is very good. This was an extremely comfortable motel. We were only passing through tourists, but the front desk folks were extremely welcoming and helpful. Rooms are neat, tidy and spacious as we expect from Motel 6 brand. I had no complaints. If I were ever to stay in Kamloops again, I'd stay here.

The price was good but we never got our room cleaned for the 5 nights that we were there - nor did they exchange towels. We kept waiting but once we returned to the room, nothing was done and no new towels. The faucet handle came off. I reported it but it was never fixed. Beds were ok and air conditioning worked. Would like to have HD TV channels and WiFi was spotting and slow!

The first room they gave us had used towels with hairs on them. When we pulled back the sheets there were.....different kinds of hair already occupying the bed. They gave us a different room which seemed to be better but just in case we still slept with our clothes on.
