The woman on the phone was absolutely lovely! In person the staff were very down to earth and friendly enough. As they said, every room has a water view and our rooms certainly did! I would recommend getting one a bit further away from the lobby, though, as those rooms look out over the roof and the view is not as nice as it could be. The rooms themselves are normal for a hotel, nothing special. The hotel restaurant is good though a bit pricey, but the view totally compensates. We saw two pods of porpoises during both of the meals we ate there, and we heard they see all kinds of wildlife from those windows. The restaurant was having some major staffing issues while we were there and I hope they've been able to work it out. I'd certainly stay at the hotel again on another trip to Campbell River.

Clean and cozy. Although it's dated, there's enough to do that you won't be spending much time in the hotel. Loved the view of the water. The front desk staff were super friendly and accommodating. The pool and hot tub are indoors, which is a bit of a bummer, and the vending machines were very sad.

The Hotel Here Has 7 Floors, Rooms Were Super Clean, The Food At The Restaurant Is Excellent And Has An Excellent View Of The Ocean, The Hotel Is Pet Friendly As Well! I Recommend Staying Here If You're Spending A Couple Of Days In Campbell River

Free breakfast buffet was great. Place is starting to show some wear'n'tear but it's no big deal. Location is unbeatable.

My husband is in the hospital with serious problems, I live four hours away. I booked a room at the Anchor Inn In Campbell river for my self and 5 young children which are very well behaved young children to stay in for the night. When I got to the hotel I was told by the rude and very short worded front desk woman Laura that I had to buy a second room for my underage children to sleep. I told her my situation regarding not being able to leave them by their self given their young age and my spouse being in the hospital.... She said pretty much she does not care, I cant stay there. That I would have to call and cancel my room. I thought that this is a family hotel, but its NOT. Given the proximity to the hospital I would think they were to accommodate family's in medical need. They wont! I broke down and cried with stress my kids as well. Thank the lord. We found another hotel that would help us with no problem at all.
