We arrived close to midnight after ferry from USA. Upon checking in we found our room to be extremely filthy and mould throughout the bathroom, it was also noisy due to an AC vent outside the window. We requested a better room which was given to us but it really wasn't much better. The beds seemed as if they had already been slept in but the front desk girl did change the sheets for us. It was late and we were exhausted so we eventually got to sleep about 2am. We were originally booked for 4 nights but there was no way we were staying at this place. In the morning we saw that the pool was far from being able swim in and extremely unsafe and unhealthy. The carpets looked as if they have never been cleaned. This place was so disgusting that our local authorities would close it down. What ever you do just don't stay here. By the way we found somewhere cheaper and clean and closer to downtown.

3 pm check in but room wasn't ready until almost 5 pm! Staff were less than helpful. Pool wasn't open even though its June so my kids were super disappointed. Room was in pretty rough shape. Location was convenient but unfortunately that isn't enough to bring me back here.

Absolutely disgusting. My sister and I stayed here. Both of us frequent travellers, her to other countries. This is by far the dirtiest hotel room we've ever stayed in! We first noticed her comforter was riddled with stains and other filth. So we asked for new linens. At that point we started noticing everything else and it was so bad we almost switched hotels. There are so many smear and splatter marks around the room. Two in particular as seen in the photos were so bad, and obvious. One at the door and one under the light switches at the bathroom sink. How these are missed is completely unimaginable. We reported these as well and was assured there was a note on the file for housekeeping the next day. Additionally we found dirty linens in the closet from the previous stay. Upon returning to our room the next day ALL CONCERNS WERE STILL THERE (other than linens). The only things that had been done were beds made and garbages emptied. There was still makeup "dust" in the sink, dirty toilet and bathtub. This was the first and last time staying at this hotel, usually staying at the Coast Hotel. We were trying to be budget friendly this trip and it is the only regret I have. My sister who is very familiar with hostels recommends staying there if you want budget friendly as it will likely be cleaner. I will add we spoke to the manager, apparently, upon check out. She wasn't aware of any of this which was very irritating. Upon giving her the details we were offered 10% off..... $50. A complete joke and insult. I absolutely do NOT recommend this hotel. Very last comment is every night there was an odour, which I'm assuming is from the fryer in the bar? They need to do a DEEP CLEAN and freshen up the paint. I don't care if they want to charge more... no price is worth this!

1. There were Dorito crumbs under one of the beds; not just one or two, but a pretty noticeable amount of Doritos. 2. The sheets were stained and some of the stains were clearly blood stains, so we had to sleep without the covers. The bed scarfs look like they have never been washed, as they had crusty white stuff all over them. 3. The walls were filthy; there was a giant black footprint on the wall right next to the head of my bed. 4. The microwave was really old and dirty. 5. The mini fridge wasn't cold. 6. The elevator broke while we were there. 7. The staff were okay, but they do not say anything beyond payment/checkin/checkout details. They do not greet you or talk to you otherwise. 8. The carpet was very dirty and the stairwell reeked. 9. This place needs to hire actual employees, not get their children or family members to be the cleaning staff. One of the cleaning employees was sitting on the second floor playing on his phone and not working. 10. The AC didn't have any buttons, one of the lamps didn't have a bulb, and one of the lamp shades and one of the bedsheets were ripped. 11. There was garbage outside of my window (some coal and old signage). 12. There was garbage around the hotel and broken furniture (a chair with no seat). The windows didn't open. 13. The place was just filthy and gross, so we had to go by Lysol spray to be able to sit on the beds and use the pillows. We were too disgusted to even eat snacks in our hotel room. 14. I paid $500 for a two-night stay, and I regret it so much. Ramada should do an investigation and close this place down. The only reason why I booked this place is because I trusted the Ramada name, but then we realized it was only a franchise when we got there. This place was a complete disappointment, and the only good thing about it was that it was only a 10-minute drive from downtown Victoria. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT STAY HERE.

Very poor experience at this location. Room was double booked, they gave us keys to a room that wasn't empty and we ended walking into a room already occupied. Despite having "many vacant rooms", the room we were eventually given after an hour's delay had only a single bed instead of two as originally reserved. So the other person in my group had to get a separate room. And as compensation they offered only a late check-out which we informed was of no interest to us since we were leaving early the next day. The room itself was below par as well. Burn marks in the sheet linen, cutlery in the drawers was not clean, AC unit was caked in dust. Would most definitely not stay here again.
