After being turned down for service at Sea Glass, we decided to try The Latch. Let me tell you that we made a wise decision. Firstly, the coffee was wonderful. They use freshly ground beans and it tasted like our pour-over coffee at home. Secondly, the food was fresh and presented beautifully. The wagyu burger was delightful and the pan fried potatoes were cooked and seasoned just right. My wife absolutely loved the crab cake Benny, and my sister-in-law was kind enough to share her crab Mac and cheese which was heavenly. Thirdly, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the location was serene. The manager also provided a tour of their recently restored historical location which was educational and entertaining. We can't wait to return when dinner service resumes. We wish you the best of luck with completing the restoration and finding additional staff. We highly recommend The Latch. You won't be disappointed.

Went for breakfast on a whim with my wife. The server was very welcoming and kept us well informed due to an unexpected delay in opening the kitchen at 8:30. The Smoked Salmon Benny was delicious, as was the Breakfast Hash, and our hot beverages (the Latch Breakfast tea blend and coffee) were excellent. Bringing the loose tea ready to be added to the pot was a nice touch. Our visit was during their Grand Reopening promo after restoration, and the rooms, grounds, and building looked wonderful; the Library offered nice views of the gardens. We will happily return to enjoy the service and food at the Latch.

A rare find! I think the description of this beautiful Inn is understated. Step into it, and you find yourself in a mansion of a different era. Treat yourself to elegance and luxury of bygone days. It is set in a quiet setting overlooking the harbor and marina. Very quiet and peaceful. The manager and staff are very nice, friendly and accommodating. The room was beatifully elegant and private. Breakfast was upscale and delicious. This is a must if you are in Sidney!

Beautiful, historic inn with attentive service and good food. We missed our ferry and hadn't planned to stay in Sidney, but we're glad we did! Highly recommend this inn with comfortable beds, nice views, and a fireplace to boot. Hoping to be back again in the future.

What a great place. I under new ownership and management. They were really busy, it was Valentine's day. And the general manager Francis was amazing. He did everything for us, including upgrading our room as a surprise. Over the top. And the ambiance and character this place has. Wow. I would rate it higher. But 5 stars is all I can do. Thanks for the amazing night and food.
